For areas requiring a constant flow of resin to cover a maximum amount of accessible area (ie road medians) a pump set up is advisable.



With a pump constantly feeding either a gravity wand (see gravity wand info sheet) or a 20ltr bucket, resin can be constantly applied. The added benefit is that the applicator will be less likely to add to fatigue as the maximum weight handled is 2-4kg rather than up to 15kg with the bucket only method.



To avoid resin spill from the pump it is advisable to allow for one person to monitor the pump and air compressor so the flow can be stopped immediately in an emergency.



As well as at least one applicator, a third person is required to keep the drum (or truck if the drum is set up on a vehicle) moving with the project.
