Completed in 2010, this project was for the entrance areas to the busy Sunnybank Sports Club.

The area was part of new landscaping being undertaken by Brisbane based Penfold Projects. A StoneSet fully porous finish was specified, so the base was built up with 200mm of low fines road base, compacted and rolled before a 52mm Atlantis Gravel Cell was installed on top. The recycled plastic Gravel Cell gives a strong load bearing base layer which is back filled with a single sized 6mm crushed rock to maximise porosity rates.

The final layer, 8mm Rustic Blend StoneSet, was installed at a 25mm depth. The colour gives a decorative, natural gravel finish which is hardwearing enough to handle daily traffic including the occasional delivery truck.
